Parking

The Playhouse is located in a residential area of Hasland - as such there is no dedicated car park.

There is free on-street parking around The Playhouse. Please ensure you park sensibly, and aren’t blocking access for our neighbours.

Please allow extra time when arriving for a show, as it may take longer than you think to find a parking space.

We ask audience members to car-share where possible or alternatively, to use public transport.

Train: We are approximately a 30 minute walk from Chesterfield train station.

Bus: We are a 5 minute walk from stops Hasland Medical Centre (16 bus service) and Eastwood Park (48, 54, 54A, 65A and PRO bus services).
If coming from Chesterfield train station, you can catch the 54 or 54A service from the station, alighting at Eastwood Park and walking five minutes to the theatre.
